My wife and I had the good luck of being invited on this adventure with Luca and his team by some old friends. So there were 4 of us (2 couples) on the boat, in addition to Luca, an ocean biologist, and a volcanologist. Lots of PhDs! 😉 The volcanologist was also our professional chef, who provided us with exquisite Sicilian fare twice daily. Her food was better than the restaurants we visited while ashore. The snorkeling (led by the doctor of ocean biology) was fantastic. We got to touch an octopus and other sea life. Unfortunately, my wife also touched a jellyfish. Sad face. In short, the week was magical. Best vacation my wife and I have ever had. The quality, good humor, intelligence, and generosity of the captain and crew made the trip extraordinary. The natural beauty (live volcanos!) and wildlife and food and drink we're tops. Thank you Luca and team! Hope we see you again. Much affection. the Rays.

È stata la prima esperienza in barca a vela per me e le altre due amiche con cui ho condiviso tre giorni fantastici. Un’sperienza che ripeteremo con Cochiel. Una barca che oltre ad essere bella e spaziosa è anche confortevole. Ci ha accompagnate in luoghi fastatici con magnifiche vedute, albe e tramonti. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di (Website hidden by Airbnb) rumore del mare e i panorami sono un qualcosa che gli occhi e la mente non potranno dimenticare. Il prossimo anno Cochiel verrò alle Eolie con noi.

We have recently returned from four days and nights with Captain Luca enjoying a wonderful visit to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. The sailboat is a beautiful, comfortable vessel and Luca is a skilled captain who inspired confidence with his sailing and navigation skills. Luca was a knowledgeable and warm person whom we enjoyed spending time with. He frequently consulted with us about our itinerary, frequently giving us suggestions to help us explore well-known highlights while also sharing some hidden gems. He also did a great job connecting with and tailoring the trip to our two young daughters often letting them take the helm and finding wonderful (safe) spots for us to swim and snorkel. We also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the boat's hostess, Marina, who was an excellent cook. We especially enjoyed her spaghetti with clams. She also was thoughtful about accommodating the children's tastes and even a gluten allergy. Our family of four enjoyed this experience immensely.

The boat trip was amazing. The trip was booked for 3 girlfriends for a 3 night stay, the boat slept us all comfortably. Enzo our captain went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, with breakfasts, picking up necessities, recommending & booking us the best restaurants on the islands and sharing local knowledge. We experienced the islands of Procida, Capri and Ischia, which are all incredible places to visit, with such a rich & ancient history and scenery that will be imprinted in our minds forever. Luca & Enzo thank you for providing us with such a wonderful holiday experience we will never forget. We hope to be back soon.

Two of the most beautiful people on this earth, we love spending time with Luca and Frederica. Unfortunately my wife is not a boat person so we had to end our short holiday after one night. If your looking for the ultimate yachting experience and you love the med, then spend a few days with Luca!!

Luca communicated with me from the very start of the inquiry. He was flexible with itinerary. He was very welcoming and met our family of 5 as we got off the ferry in Procida. He was very pleasant and friendly. We loved the entire experience and didn't want it to end.

Spectacular! The 4 nights aboard Cochiel was a highlight of our family's 2+ week vacation in Italy. Our time sailing, swimming and visiting small coastal towns was a unique experience of relaxation and exploration. This was a welcome break after the tourist sites and crowds of Venice, Florence and Rome. Luca is an incredibly friendly, helpful and warm host. He worked with me to plan the itinerary well ahead of time, and then adapted based on our preferences once we were on board. Luca captained for us and hired a hostess (Marina) who shopped, cooked and cleaned, enabling us to completely relax without those chores. Initially, we felt we didn't need a hostess since we planned to eat dinners in port. But we took Luca's advice and could not have been happier. Marina's warm personality also made her good company to have aboard. We visited the islands of Ventotene, Ischia, Capri and Procida. The typical day started with breakfast at anchor or in port, then we set off to cruise the coast and find a spot to anchor for a swim, read and then lunch. Mid afternoon we would head for the next destination - typically a 3-4 hour journey that would bring us into port in time to explore the town by foot and find a restaurant for dinner. My favorite stop was Ventotene - both the small old port and the fabulous swimming anchor off the island. This was a very low key island. On the other side of the spectrum, a night out in Capri was also fun and provided a taste of the fashionable island getaway. Between islands, we were fortunate to have up-close sightings of a sperm whale one day and a group of perhaps 30 dolphins the next day. The boat was very comfortable for our family of four - our kids 13 and 15 yrs old - plus Luca and Marina. It was a totally stress-free experience that everyone enjoyed and we hope to come back again.
